Code of Conduct for all Ludo-Gatineau events, including Ludo-Outaouais

Ludo-Gatineau is committed to fostering a fun, inclusive and safe environment for all participants in all its events.

Therefore, this code of conduct outlines our expectations regarding participant behavior and the consequences of unacceptable behavior. By attending Ludo-Gatineau events, you agree to abide by this code of conduct. Individuals found to have engaged in inappropriate behavior at Ludo-Gatineau events will face corrective action.

Unacceptable behaviors include, but are not limited to:

• Any form of harassment, discrimination, intimidation (whether verbal, physical, written or electronic) based on reasons such as, but not limited to: age, physical appearance, sex and gender identity, nationality and ethnic origin, beliefs and religious affiliations;
• Vulgar language, derogatory or degrading behavior;
• L'sustained or repeated interruption of the event or interruption of other players;
• Gestures, behaviors, and language of a sexual nature, including, without limitation:
  • Sharing sexual images or sexting;
  • The use of nudity or images of nudity in public spaces;
  • Teasing, jokes and innuendos of a sexual nature;
  • Rubbing against a person;
  • Offering gifts of a sexual nature;
• Illegal activities or acts;
• Acts of violence;
• Incitement to any of the above behaviors;
• Any other behavior that the Ludo-Gatineau organizing committee deems inappropriate.

Reporting unacceptable behavior to the Ludo-Gatineau Committee

Reception staff will always be able to identify a committee member. If the person wishes, the committee member will find a private space where the victim or witness can make their statement.
